New Role at Posit: Head of Developer Relations

I’m excited to share that I’m stepping into a new role at Posit PBC as Head of Developer Relations! 🎉
First order of business: establishing a DevRel Guild. Here’s why:
At Posit, we’re fortunate to have many developers who are drawn to DevRel activities: giving great talks, writing insightful blog posts, creating excellent documentation, and engaging with our open source community. Rather than centralizing these activities within a single team, we want to amplify and support this organic energy.
The DevRel Guild will be a voluntary group that brings together everyone at Posit who’s interested in developer relations. We’ll share ideas, coordinate outreach, and learn from each other’s experiences.
This is just the beginning. Our team has many exciting initiatives in the pipeline. Looking forward to sharing more soon!
